The great opening took place by the end of 2014: the new Spa complex, born from the restoration of the ancient thermal baths of San Pellegrino in the North of Italy, is ready to leave you breathless.

The recovery of the former glory the Spa of San Pellegrino required an investment of the total value of 25 million euro and a hard work, aimed to the skillful restoration of one of the most important example of Liberty style in Italy.

The result is one of the biggest thermal Parks in Europe, developed on almost 10.000 square meters - 6.000 mq of wellness areas and 3.200 mq of the historical park of the renowed spring water “Fonte di San Pellegrino” – with more than 40 thermal practices.

San Pellegrino has always been considered one of the most valuable Thermal complex throughout Europe due to its historical and natural heritage. Since in the Eighteen century, San Pellegrino became one of the most loved thermal station for the particular properties of its waters, rich in minerals and beneficial components for the body. Its painting, luxury rooms, colonnades, ceiling fascinated its guests with a timeless, refined atmosphere that charmed famous people like the poet Carducci and Queen Margaret; today the impressive artistic heritage of the early Twentieth century has been unearthed thanks to the careful works of restoration of frescoes and architectural elements.
The project of the New Spa was developed from the architect Mauro Piantelli of the “DE8 Architects Studio”, in collaboration, regarding the thermal program, with Quadratec S.r.l, the engineering company branch of QC Spa, and from the architect Marco Ferrari. The SPA zone, realized by Stenal srl – a Company specialized since 1980 in custom made Wellness and Spa equipment – consists of ten prestigious cabins, born from a long research in design and materials. All of them are melted with the symbols that recalls the fortune and fame of San Pellegrino, like the water bubbles that are reproduced on the sauna’s wall like in the photo or the silhouette of the renowned “Cinzano” bottle of water that appears into the steam bath.

A complete wellness experience among saunas of different types, biosauna, turkish baths, emotional showers, ice and salt cabins, where each rooms tells something of the precious history of this place.

A wide massage area and nine swimming pools indoor and outdoor complete the offer of this pearl of the Valle Brembana, a valuable occasion for revitalization of the area even in view of Expo2015.
